Today is Wednesday 10th February

Lots of things have happened.

On Wednesday 3rd, Nurse Tricky came to check my blood for chemo. Megan, my friend came around after nursery to play with me. Unfortunately I fell asleep just before she got here. When I woke up, she was still here so I gave her a birthday present for the other day. It was a till, I loved it.

On Thursday we went to Great Ormond Street. I went to Radiology first and a doctor put cold jelly all over my tummy to look inside. Everything was fine. We are all very happy about that. At the hospital I had to wait in a room by myself, in case I get chicken pox still. Then the nurses checked my blood again and decided that I couldn't have chemo because I didn't have enough platlets. I was quite happy about that. Mummy and Daddy had long chats with the doctors about me being skinny and I have lots of milkshakes to drink. They also decided that in a week I am going to have a straw put in my nose to help me get a bit fatter so mum can feed me with a pump in the night. When we got home Daddy had to go off to Durham for a concert.

On Friday 5th someone came to see mummy at home to talk about my visual impairment. He said that one reason that I am so wobbly might be because my eye sight has got worse quite quickly and that now my right eye is my good eye. He also talked to mum about the schools I could go to. I showed him the Cbeebies website and sqigglet. I like the webcam photos you can take.

On Saturday morning Daddy came back from Durham. He was very tired. Petra went to ballet and tap. Mum was really happy because she was in the garden and Aidan played on the Wii. I had a TV day.

On Sunday I felt a little bit better and we went to church. Daddy also took me to the park at the end of the road.

On Monday 8th the plumbers arrived. We have a slow leak in our water tank which needs fixing and also our water mains pipe which is also over 100 years old is broken. Billy and his friend have dug a great big deep hole all the way down the side of the house. It is right outside our front door. I went to the hospital to get some more medicine for my tummy. I have to take it twice a day. Hopefully it will stop it hurting. Cathy my godmother came round to drink wine with mummy.

On Tuesday the hole got even bigger and the banging even louder. Aidan went to the science museum on a school trip. I went into town with Daddy in the buggy to get some more things that the nurses need for when they check my blood.

Today the nurses came to check my blood again. It is fine. I can have chemo tomorrow. I played games with Marja this morning. The plumbers hole is really big now. There are great big piles of mud on the grass. Mummy ran out to save her snowdrops. Ben is here painting the kitchen. I had a sleep this afternoon. When I woke up there was water pouring through the ceiling from the water tank. Daddy and the plumber were running around. Then mummy phoned to say she had left the car headlights on and locked the keys in the car. The AA man said that even Homer Simpson wouldn't have done that.
